Gas Ovens
Gas ovens are the less common of the ovens available on the market. They are generally more expensive to purchase and more expensive to install (particularly if there is no pre-existing natural gas supply to the kitchen). However, over time, gas ovens are cheaper and more efficient to run, due to the higher cost of electricity. Gas ovens tend to cook food significantly quicker and more efficiently than their electric counterparts, but they do tend to release more moisture given the gas burns at a higher temperature than electric ovens. This moisture isn’t ideal when roasting meat or vegetables.
